"Where have you been?"
My friend's question when I arrived 2 hours late for our session. I mean maintaining friendship is a very good thing but why could it be like an appointment to attend.
I have to admit, Sun was a nice lady to hang out with, but she is quite a gabby pygmy for me. Good thing all of her chattering made sense like she was lecturing. She also said that sticking our eyes on others' business can be a good hobby. I have to correct her about the 'sticking our eyes' thing since we're supposed to stick our NOSES on others' business. But she could be brutal, so I kept it. Basically, our hobby was always spying. She said it was very fun, even though I personally think that snooping into other pygmies' businesses wasn't such a good manner.
One time in our spying sessions, I saw Nooby scribbling on a tree using a tool. His attention was diverted due to Klik's call. He ran off to reveal what he had drawn. OMG! It was so freaking ugly, I wanted to chop the tree down and set it off to the ocean! Actually, his drawing was about me and Sun holding hands. It could be true that we weren't perfect from our looks. But PUH-LEEZE! Do you think our eyes are big as coconuts? Or do you think that our faces got squashed by a foot of a dinosaur?
"What are you still doing here?", she asked me. "I found new business to spy on. Let's go!"
I tagged along with her like a tail. Soon, we arrived at Sun's destination.
"Hey! Look at the heck of these two!"
From behind the bushes, I looked out, only to see the GROSSEST thing in my life! Actually, we were snooping on Dooby and Toola who were lying down on the shore, wearing mud masks and kiwi. Since when does mud can be put on your face? I have a nerve to yell at them, "Hey! Why are you two putting something on your faces that you step everyday? You couldn't be like ice cream with mud syrup and cherry on top!" But I just said it inside my head.
"Next target, here we go!", cheered Sun.
That's when I totally lost it and said, "Actually, I got broke and I know we must do this no more.."
Sun's face turned red in frustration, "What? What do you mean by that? Are you leaving me? Tell me I'm doing things right!"
She dragged me by my right arm at the cave where we used to hang out.
"See this?", asked Sun as she released my arm. "If you can't do our hobby anymore, then we will remember this no more."
"But Sun, what if somebody is snooping on you? Would you be happy?", I asked as I wrapped my right arm at her neck. "Think about it. If I am right, we can start a new activity."
Sun looked on the cave door, then at me. Then at the door. Back at me. THIS TOOK FOREVER!
Forever until Sun's face turned blue and ran away from me. I wonder what could be her problem. I was pondering until I heard somebody shriek for help. It was Sun's voice.
I quickly followed her trace toward the shore, only hearing nothing but the sea and the birds and only seeing empty huts, piers and a trace of blood.
"Oh no..."
